Everest arrived with another horse from the same place. While he wasn't too underweight when he arrived, he had black manure, bad rainscald and a very dull coat.
His health has improved immensely while in our care and he is looking and feeling much better in himself.
Unfortunately, Everest also came with an array of behavioural issues, including a nervous head flick and some aggressive tendencies. Because of these, he will remain in our care for the rest of his days. This is in his best interests, to ensure he never ends up in the hands of an inexperienced or ignorant owner who cannot provide him with the specialised handling and care he requires.
